The Hair Bar
A neighbourhood salon designed to feel less like a chair-and-mirror shop and more like a warm, photogenic ritual worth booking again.
The brief
Make every seat feel like the good seat — and every wall worth a photo.
A salon lives or dies on two things: how clients feel in the chair, and how the space looks on their phone afterward. We designed for both — flattering, layered lighting at every station, and a material palette of warm plaster, fluted timber and brushed brass that photographs beautifully.
Behind the scenes, the plan is ruthlessly practical: tight service routes, durable surfaces, and storage that keeps the tools out of sight.
